Do you have a question?

What is lila.19?

We enjoy a weekend and celebrate the queer community. Day and night you will experience international artists, music, dance, poetry and wild performances. Enchanting people on and in front of the stage: Come with us on a voyage of discovery and let many colourful birds carry you over the clouds.

Why a queer festival?

The short answer: Because it's fun. The long answer: Queer culture challenges, criticizes, strengthens and enables. The creation of spaces and art forms creates meeting places for our queer subculture. Music, dance and performances are our way of turning the world upside down. Sexualities, youth, relationships, bodies, identities and friendship are reinterpreted.

Why “lila”?

Because of this great song from the 1920s.

How to get here.

The railway station “Wollishofen” and the tram station “Post Wollishofen” are just a few minutes' walk away. Even closer is the bus: Get off at the station “Rote Fabrik”. Parking spaces to pay can be found at “Hafen Wollishofen”. There are no parking spaces at the venue.

safety

Homophobia, transphobia, racism or sexism don't work with us. We and our security staff help you with concerns and insecurity. You can reach our trust team at any time.

We have three simple rules: (1) Respect diversity. We are different. Don't make assumptions about people. Ask. (2) Accept the no. No means no, whether a touch or sex. A "no" also counts as a "no" if it is shown without words: If your counterpart is rejecting, silent or drunk, that means no.  (3) Enjoy your time. It is our common goal to create a safe and colourful world for us. Get to know people, be surprised and inspired.
